The time you spend accumulating your hours for licensure can be both exciting and challenging. Finding the right supervisor, someone who can be a guide, mentor, cheerleader, someone who will help to clarify and achieve your goals and someone who will provide feedback and encouragement, is critical to your development as a clinician.
I have over 10 years of experience as a Clinical Supervisor and have supervised ASW, AMFT and APCCs on their path to licensure. I am enthusiastic about working together to ensure that this period is one of growth and learning.
I offer a supportive, safe, enriching environment and believe in working collaboratively to identify your strengths and professional goals.
One of the most important concepts I emphasize during supervision is practicing self-care and achieving a good work/life balance, which is crucial to success in this field.
I use a variety of techniques in supervision including case presentations, role play, case studies, and reviewing current literature and studies in the field including best practices.
